Cox's San Diego system became part of Spectrum when Charter's acquisition closed in August 2026, with Spectrum branding rolling out from mid-September. Cox's San Diego network now operates as Spectrum (since September 2026).

Check for an outage

  1. Open the provider app named in your latest account notice.
  2. Or visit the official support site.
  3. See reports on Downdetector.

Restart

Most customers have a cable modem and router. Follow our restart steps in the right order. Don't press reset.

Contacting support

Use the number on your bill, in the official app, or on the provider's own website. We don't publish phone numbers because fake ones are a common scam.

Fake support numbers are common. Scam ads and look-alike sites pose as provider support, then ask for remote access to your computer or payment in gift cards. Use only the number on your bill, in the official app, or on the provider's own site.
